River Harmony Recent Performances


We sang at the local Senior Center on March 4. Their entertainment coordinator thanked us for brightening a gray day for them. The seniors brightened our day, too! We love to sing for them.

On November 3, we held a fund-raiser, serenading the customers and bussing tables at The Pizza Ranch in Fort Pierre. We had plenty of fun, greeting strangers and friends alike, and gained a new appreciation for those who are on their feet all day. Join us on December 15 for a return performance!

On a sunny Saturday morning, August 1, we entertained the crowd at Pierre's Crazy Days, performing the Patriotic Medley, Do Lord and San Franciso Bay Blues.

We had lots of fun, saw lots of friends and had our picture taken by a staff member of the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce!

On Wednesday evening, July 22, we serenaded the crowd waiting to listen to the community band concert at Griffin Park. We performed the Patriotic Medley, Do Lord and San Franciso Bay Blues, followed by Happy Birthday in four-part harmony for one of our members.

On Thursday, May 14, we performed twice. Our first was a sing-out for the local Senior Center, our first appearance with our new director, Will Hanson. We sang San Francisco Bay Blues, Do Lord, Lullaby of Broadway and ended with a Patriotic Medley. Later that afternoon, we gathered with former members of River Harmony to honor the memory of our dear friend and founding member Darline. We sang In the Garden and Thank You Dear Lord for Music, two of her favorites. We miss her so.
